    Inspired by her first entheogenic experience in 2004, Erin received an MA in Philosophy and Religion from CIIS and continued her PhD studies in the same program until her dissertation jumped off the page and she began tending to its lived unfolding. In other roles, Erin cultivates community in the greater Port Townsend area, is co-founder of the Port Townsend Psychedelic Society, leads alpine journeys as a guide for ISO Adventures, and has worked many seasons as an NPS ranger.

    Rebecca Mains is a pharmacognosist and plant medicine advocate with degrees in political science (University of Washington), plant medicine (Bastyr University), and biomedical regulatory affairs (UW School of Pharmacy). She works to expand access to high-quality botanical medicines by developing products that can be covered by insurance, lowering the costs of these medicines. Rebecca is a fiercely mission-driven individual and is president of the Clallam County Psychedelic Society, a board member at REACH Washington, serves on Bastyr University’s Institutional Review Board, and supports the NW Organization for Clinical and Regulatory Associates (ORCA). Through her philanthropic work, she hopes to increase access to plant-based psychedelic medicines by decriminalizing these psychoactive plants and fungi in both her local community and the state of Washington.

    Hailing from the Midwest, Rachel studied International Relations, Comparative Cultures & Politics, and Spanish at Michigan State University, writing her senior thesis on psychedelics and alternatives to drug prohibition. Her experience spans policy, law, and mental health. She has worked as a paralegal and currently stewards the Psychedelic Bar Association’s Religious Use Committee, exploring the diverse ways people cultivate sacred relationships with psychedelics and how these practices intersect with the law. Committed to developing laws grounded in lived experience, promoting safety in underground contexts, and the power of peer support, Rachel has also volunteered at Fireside Project’s free hotline, holding space for people navigating potentially challenging and transformative experiences.

    John Towles is a veteran, policy strategist, and community advocate dedicated to advancing equitable, compassionate, and evidence-informed approaches to healing. Over the course of his career, he has led legislative, educational, and nonprofit initiatives focused on improving access to care, supporting trauma-informed systems, and strengthening community resilience.

    As a former national advocate and nonprofit leader, John has worked alongside federal lawmakers, educators, and grassroots organizations to bridge the gap between policy and lived experience. His approach integrates strategic leadership with a deep respect for personal transformation, ethical service, and collective wellbeing.

    John’s work reflects a belief that sustainable change begins at the intersection of knowledge, empathy, and empowerment and is committed to fostering responsible access to entheogens, expanding community-based education, and cultivating healing models that honor both ancestral wisdom and contemporary science.

    Amy Ferree found her path to healing through plant medicine, which helped her overcome addiction and reconnect with purpose. She brings her experience from the consumer packaged goods world—where she works in innovation and commercialization—to help ideas take shape and reach people. As part of the REACH team and founder of the Snoqualmie Valley Psychedelic Society, Amy is focused on building community, fostering understanding, and supporting others on their healing journeys.

    Sarah Jett Rasor is the Co-Founder and President of the Key Peninsula Psychedelic Society, where she leads education, risk reduction, and community support initiatives around psychedelics for healing. A former Wilderness EMT and Emergency Response Instructor, she is now a certified Cannabis and Psychedelic Health & Wellness Coach and a blossoming Herbalist. With a background in leadership development, outdoor recreation, and emergency management, Sarah has spent much of her career teaching and working in nonprofit spaces. She brings more than a decade of experience supporting chronically and terminally ill people and pets in the cannabis and psychedelic spaces. Her lived experience with PTSD, chronic illness, and plant medicine shape her trauma-informed, compassionate approach and drive her commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and informed psychedelic communities.

REACH WA Advisors

    Jon Dennis is a lawyer, activist, and entrepreneur. He is the executive director of Vital Oregon, a psilocybin facilitator training program by Psychedelics Today, and the co-host of the “Eyes on Oregon” podcast. Jon has been a lead voice in promoting equity and affordability under Oregon’s psilocybin program, known as Measure 109. He is the chief architect of the proposed regulatory framework for religious and community-based paradigms of psilocybin services under Measure 109. In advocating for religious and community practices, Jon co-founded of the Entheogenic Practitioners Council of Oregon.

    Tatiana is Co-Director of the Psychedelic Medicine Alliance of Washington. She previously helped to co-direct Decriminalize Nature Seattle and led the effort to achieve full decriminalization of psychedelics in Seattle in October of 2021. Since July of 2020 she has invested much of her time volunteering, organizing and advocating for an end to the war on drugs and for everyone’s right to heal with and utilize psychedelics. She has a particular focus on equitable and affordable access, advocating for ethical and responsible use of psychedelics.

He is passionate about projects like REACH that contribute towards the foundations of a more just and regenerative civilization.

    Pat Donahue is a dedicated attorney based in Spokane, Washington, with a passion for the outdoors. His legal journey began in 2013 as an intern at the Spokane County Public Defender's Office, later founding Donahue Law in 2016. Pat has since expanded his expertise through training programs and scholarships, focusing on criminal defense and personal injury cases. In 2022, he founded Terrapin Legal, specializing in the emerging legal psychedelic field, while continuing criminal defense practice. His commitment lies in providing strong legal representation, whether in the realm of psychedelics or traditional legal matters.

    Lauren is the Director of Hippie and a Veteran Foundation. An organization dedicated to spreading awareness, education and access to alternative, culturally and individually appropriate PTSD treatments & therapies for Veterans. A former Army Combat Medic, shx is a Medical Access Activist that advises on Suicide Prevention in Veteran & marginalized communities at both the State and Federal level.
